Wedding Photography

Photography is a big part of any couples’ wedding day.  Your photos are the lasting memory of a day that whizzes by, faster than you had hoped it would.

A photographer can often pick out moments that you wouldn’t even realise had happened and you end up with a wonderful story in photographs and something to cherish for the rest of your lives.

Wedding photographers can sometimes get booked up a year or two in advance so if photography is important to you, it’s a good idea to put a wedding photographer on the top of your to-do list.

The key things to look out for when looking for a good photographer are:

  • Good use of lighting to get blue skies in addition to well lit faces.
  • A varied portfolio with sample albums showing a whole wedding, not just their best images.  This will give you a better idea of what to expect from your own wedding photos.
  • All eyes are looking at the camera in group photos.  A good photographer will be able to capture people’s attention and stop them getting distracted so easily.

To summarise, a good professional photographer will help your day to run smoothly and efficiently and this will be evident in the photos you get back from them.

Rachelle provides creative wedding photography with a contemporary style to her images. She produces a fusion of candid (informal) and formal photography to capture your perfect day. Your wedding day will be captured as it unfolds, with emotion, expression and style.
