An interview with … Glyn T Jones-Photography

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

My name is Glyn Jones, I am from the Staffordshire town of Burntwood. I have always had an interest in photography from as soon as I was old enough to hold a camera.

What is your business?

I am the owner of Glyn T Jones Photography. We specialise in wedding & portrait photography, we rely on building up a rapport with our clients through our relaxed approach, to capture your perfect photos. My partner Tracy & I do our upmost to put you at ease on your big day.

What inspired you to start your business?

I have always enjoyed photography & setting up professionally was the perfect way to turn a lifelong hobby into a perfect career.

What sets your business apart from the rest?

All of our clients have commented about how relaxed they feel with us. The rapport that we build up with our clients makes them feel very relaxed while they are infront of the lens. This in turn leads to more natural photographs from the day for them to treasure.

What do you love about your job?

Here at Glyn T Jones Photography we feel it is always a privilege to be part of our couples wedding day, & to be entrusted with the very important job of creating their memories from the biggest day of their lives.

Have you ever had an unusual request from a bride?

No, not really. Probably the most unusual request was from a couple who wanted us to photograph them on the afternoon of their wedding in the Bridal Suite of their hotel, with the four poster bed. This was not a problem & the photographs came out very well for a slightly unusual keepsake.

What is your best selling product/service?

Our best selling service has to be our wedding photography packages that include a luxury Italian hand made wedding album, that we are very proud to be able to offer.

What advice can you offer brides planning their wedding?

My advice to any bride would be to make sure you are totally comfortable with all of the companies/people who will be providing a service, or supplying items for your wedding day. You have to have a strong trust in their ability to get things exactly as YOU want them, & not just the way they like to provide them. Also remember, once your wedding day is over. The expensive champagne has all been drank, the wedding cake has been eaten, & your wedding dress is safely stored in the loft, all you are left with from your day is your memories, & your wedding album.
